PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING

Tracer/Talkument version 5 upgrades to version 6 require the use of an upgrade wizard. Please download the Upgrade Instructions to get the information.

Upgrades from Tracer 4 to Tracer 6 must be scheduled through Tech Support by emailing installs@oaisys.com. We will provide a system resource review and go through the process with you. We may recommend a system refresh for older systems that don't qualify for the new software.

Please contact us as soon as possible to schedule an upgrade. Currently we are scheduling about one week out. Please note your Tracer system must meet the following requirements for upgrades from version 4 to version 6:

  • 1 GB RAM
  • OS must be XP Pro or 2003 Server
  • The minimum version of Tracer 4 is 4.0.1619

Other considerations:

  • Admin and User interface differences (user training highly recommended)
  • Age of and use of system (how many ports, % of time 'busy' and # of users)
  • Staging folder structure (Backup Staging process)
  • Requirement of .NET 3.5 SP1 at each desktop (client software)
  • More robust SQL Database structure (usage and size constraints)
