6.1 to 6.1 - Minor build updates support in place upgrades, simply run the setup file. This will stop services, install software, and restore registry settings.

6.0 to 6.1 - Please download the Upgrade Instructions to get the information on this upgrade.

5.5 to 6.1 - Tracer/Talkument version 5 upgrades to version 6.1 require the use of an upgrade wizard. Please download the Upgrade Instructions to get the information.The upgrade wizard will download the appropriate software.

4.0 to 6.1 - Upgrades from Tracer 4 to Tracer 6.1 must be scheduled through Tech Support by emailing installs@oaisys.com. We will provide a system resource review and go through the process with you. We may recommend a system refresh for older systems that don't qualify for the new software.
The following are the minimum requirements: 1 GB RAM, OS must be XP Pro or 2003 Server, minimum version of Tracer 4 is 4.0.1619

Other considerations: Admin and User interface differences (user training highly recommended); age of and use of system (how many ports, % of time 'busy' and # of users); staging folder structure (Backup Staging process); requirement of .NET 3.5 SP1 at each desktop (client software); more robust SQL Database structure (usage and size constraints); convert .WAV to .PVD format for recordings
